   ABOUT FAIRYTALE FACES Fairytale Faces by Natalie is located in St. Clairsville, Ohio. I, Natalie Hawthorne am the proprietor/head artist. I have an associate's degree in art (2004) and a bachelor's degree in Specialized Studies (2006) from Ohio University. I have had a lifelong interest in art, including painting, drawing and more. When my oldest daughter, Kyra, turned 2 in 2007, I began my face painting career. Inspired by Kyra's love of having her face painted and being transformed into something new for the day, I began exploring the world of full face painting. I am a member of The Face Painting and Body Art Association (FPBAA.com). I was offered a position with a prominent Pittsburgh face painter, but chose to embark on my own face painting journey in this area. I love seeing the look on children's faces when they look in the mirror for the first time after being "transformed".  MAKE-UP APPLICATION I also offer make-up application. I have been very interested in cosmetics for the past 12 years and was privileged to work as a Lancome Beauty Advisor in 2008. During that time, I learned about skincare and cosmetics, application and technique. I will apply your make-up for that special occasion or night out, or I can provide you with an hour long tutorial on make-up application, from beginning to end. Face painting makes for a memorable birthday party for birthday child and guests alike. Please call for pricing and availabilty. I use Wolfe Face Art & FX Professional Face Paint. You can visit their website for more information on their paints. They are a high quality, hydro-color, hypo-allergenic paint. The paint does come off with mild soap and water.
